Over 7,000 developers and manufacturers show off their latest products for guitarists, musicians, drummers, DJ’s and many more. Winter NAMM is held mid January in Anaheim, CA and is packed full with artists, celebrities and musical influencers who come from all over the world to perform, demo & represent. High profile musicians use this opportunity to promote their signature instruments. You’re certain to spot a few familiar faces…as I did. Phil X of Bon Jovi joined a panel to talk about his career and leaving everyone guessing if he is about to join Gibson’s artist roster. Time will tell if Phil will be making the move from Framus to Gibson, stay tuned!
John Rzezenik of Goo Goo Dolls intimate solo gig at Taylor guitars. 30 minute acoustic set, which included hits “Name”, “Broadway” & “Iris”.

As I arrived at the party, I had no idea what to expect or what Gibson guitar celebrities were going to show up. John Stamos hosted the event and got the crowd excited with laughter and charm. Slash & Don Felder, Eagles’ Guitarist playing Hotel California. Bringing out that famous 12-string Gibson and announcing “I’m going to need some help with this one. Here is my friend Slash”. Crowd went nuts and every single cell phone went up in the air. History in the making right here!
ZZ Top’s Billy Gibbons took the stage next and took everyone by surprised. As if Slash wasn’t enough of a surprise. What a treat for any music lover, so much talent and legends in one room. Truly a magical night!
